Our Company

Mayoko Mineral Mining is a fully registered mineral sector development partner in Democratic Republic of Congo with sound resources and investments in Kivu region of Congo since 1990.
We have an integral model of operation that offers 5% ownership to indigenous communities in Kivu region to avert wrong sentiments that would make the operations of the company complex. By opening to local communities to buy shares in the company, we avert insecurity, a strategy which has worked for us now for more than 15 years. This has benefited our customers who rest assured that their consignments of gold nuggets will reach them in time.
As a company, our mission is to maximize value for gold buyers around the world and local Kivu – Congo communities by mining and developing our mineral resource base in a socially and environmentally responsible manner.

TUNGSTEN
Tungsten is a metal with unique properties making it an essential industrial metal. Critical properties include – having the highest melting point of all metals (3,400°C) and the highest tensile strength, very high density, hardness close to diamond, thermally and chemically stable, excellent conductor, and is environmentally benign.
Tungsten’s most important use is as tungsten carbide in hard metals, where its use us essential to industrialization as it allows for the high speed drilling, cutting, pressing, molding of all types of material. Secondary uses are in electronics and specialist steels/super alloys.
Tungsten’s many alloys have numerous applications, including incandescent light bulb filaments-ray tubes[as both the filament and target].electrodes in TIG welding,super alloy and radiation shielding.Tungsten’s hardness and high density,give it military applications in penetrating projectiles.Tungsten compounds are also often used as industrial catalysts.
Tungsten is the only metal from the third transition series that is known to occur in bio molecules, where it is used in a few species of bacteria and Archean. It is 0.2 grams[about the heaviest element known to be essential to any living organism.Tungsten interferes with molybdenum and copper metabolism and somewhat toxic to animal life.
